" The Great Indian Educationist " Jeppiaar Dies At 85 - Know About His Life And Achievements

     Jeppiaar, a Well known politician turned educationist and Founder of Jeppiaar Educational Trust  passed away in Chennai on Saturday. The 85-year-old Educationist died at the Global hospital in Chennai.

     Jeppiaar died soon after experiencing breathlessness, sometime between 8.30 PM and 8.45 pm .Sathyabama University officials said that Jeppiar was travelling in his car when he experienced breathlessness between 8.30 and 8.45 pm. He was rushed to the emergency ward of Global Hospital at around 8.50 PM, Perumbakkam, where he was declared dead upon arrival.

Who is Jeppiaar ?

Jesadimai PangiRaj, also called Jeppiaar  is an Indian educationist from born on 11 June 1931 in Muttom (near Nagercoil),Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu.
He obtained his Bachelor of Law (B.L.) from Madras University, and his Ph.D. from Anna University. He is the founder and Chairman of Jeppiaar Educational Trust and Founder and Chancellor of the Sathyabama University.

He is the president of the Consortium of Professional, Arts and Science Colleges of Tamil Nadu.

How he started his career ?
Jeppiaar started his career as an politician and later turned as an Educationist and Industrialist .
