HP Chromebook 13 - Worlds first thinnest Chromebook developed by HP and Google
Hello TECHkish viewers !!! Got an Awesome Tech news for the Evening . Yeah !! HP has developed a new HP Chromebook 13, packing a better processor and high-end features.
HP collaboration with Google has developed the Chromebook 13 . It has an all-metal body made of brushed aluminum that's merely 12.9mm thick. It weighs 2.86 pounds (1.29 kg), which is very portable, but still near the top end of what we'd expect from a slim 13-inch laptop. That said, it's thinner and a tad lighter than Apple's MacBook Air.
Admirable Specifications :
This is the first Chromebook to use one of Intel's Core m Skylake processors (as far as I can tell, it's the first Chromebook with a Core m processor period), it can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM, and its 13.3-inch display can be upgraded to use a 3200 x 1800 display. HP promises up to 11.5 hours of battery life from the system.charging via a tiny USB-C port, this almost feels like it's inspired by Google's last Chrome Chromebook Pixel. But the Pixel is still $999, while the HP Chromebook is going to start at half that: $499 in the US when it launches at the end of April. Pricing and availability for other countries wasn't provided, but that directly converts to about £345 or AU$655.
Like other Chrome OS laptops, the Chromebook 13 offers a simplified computing environment, built around Google's Chrome Web browser. That means aside from some basic file-management tools, you'll be generally restricted to cloud-based apps, such as Gmail for email, Google Docs or the online version of Microsoft Office for productivity, or services such as Netflix and YouTube for video.
Google's big developer conference is coming up :
Hey Peps !!!! Still, this is a good time to see a powerful new Chromebook hit the market. Google's big developer conference is coming up, and it's looking more and more likely that we're going to see Chrome and Android begin to cross over the Sky in the world of technology . Already, we've seen signs that Android apps will open up to Chromebooks and suddenly make laptops like the Chromebook 13 far more useful than they are today. We'll have to wait a few weeks to see how that plays out, but this next month could be great for Chromebooks.
